A water main leak lead to several Liverpool neighbourhoods being without water for the afternoon yesterday.
David Dagley, mayor of the Region of Queens says the leak occurred near the fire hall where there is still some original infrastructure from 1899 and the 1920s.
The leak has been fixed and although there may be some discolouration to your water, it is potable and there’s no need for a boil order.
Dagley says the fix is temporary and additional work will be needed.
The municipality has been working to replace their original sewer and water lines for around 30 years.
