Tomorrow is the last day to register for Liverpool’s first ever ‘Zombie Walk.’
The walkathon-type event is being held in support of a universally designed, inclusive play park that’s set to be built in Queens County.
Autism Nova Scotia and the Region of Queens Municipality have partnered on the project but funds still need to be raised.
Debbie Wamboldt is on the fundraising committee for the park.
She says it’s like the zombie walks held for fun, but this has a fundraising twist to it.
“You get your pledges and then meet at the town hall dressed as a zombie, and this is kid friendly as well,” says Wamboldt.
Prizes will be given out for creativity.
In order to take part, you need to register for a pledge form by the end of tomorrow.
The walk takes place November 3 and runs from the Town Hall Arts and Cultural Centre to Queens Place Emera Centre.
