RCMP say flight #AF055 that left from Washington bound for Paris was diverted to Halifax Stanfield following an anonymous threat.
RCMP and police dogs searched the plane and all luggage and found no explosive device.
The Halifax Stanfield Airport tweeted that all 262 passengers and crew members are safe and thanked agencies who helped manage the situation.
The RCMP worked closely with the Airport Authority and numerous public safety and airport community partners as the incident unfolded.
The plane has been turned over to Airport Authority.
And the Halifax Airport is tweeting the incident has been resolved.
