Each tree is decorated with lights and scattered on the waterfront and the hill behind Town Hall near the Heritage Bandstand.
Organizer, Stephen Ernst, said this year, the money will go to support the Breakfast Program at Bluenose Academy.
“It’s a little extra to ensure that all the children in town have breakfast in the morning. At least a little something to eat before school,” said Ernst.
