While Canadians overwhelming disapprove of US President Donald Trump’s behaviour as President, they approve of certain policies more than those of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
That’s one of the results from a Mainstreet/Postmedia poll conducted last month.
Only 16% of Canadians called Trump honest, with 21% calling him rational, and only 23% saying he was inspirational.
By contrast, Trudeau scored 58%, 54%, and 63% on those same three measures.
Canadians gave Trump a score of 53% for his economic policy, and 51% for his national security policy.
On those same two measures, Trudeau scores 43% and 39% respectively.
Trudeau does better than Trump in terms of Healthcare, Immigration and Foreign Affairs.
