A store in Liverpool may not be Sears for much longer, but that doesn’t mean it will shut down.
Horace MacPherson owns the store and says they will become “MacPhersons Appliance and Bedding” after September 15.
MacPherson has owned the Sears for 25 years and says no jobs will be affected with the takeover.
He adds there are things he will miss about Sears.
“[I will miss] The people that we met, and the conferences we went to. Even the actual people we worked with within Sears were great”, says MacPherson. “It’s unfortunate, but things do happen, and we have to move forward”.
The store employs five people and MacPherson says it will stay that way.
He will continue to work at the new store once it switches over.
