It was bound to happen. The wholesale giant Costco will require all customers to wear either a medical mask or a face cover starting in May if they want to shop there.
Rumors have been swirling for a few days since a few customers took photos of signs at Costco’s in the U.S.A. which stated that all employees and customers would have to wear a medical mask or a face cover if they wished to shop there. On Costco’s U.S. website, the following was posted:
“Costco members and guests must wear a mask or face covering that covers the mouth and nose at all times while at Costco. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to individuals who are unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition.”
It seems to be a slow roll-out at Costco’s in Canada, but the date appears to be Monday, May 4th.
