Great news as the vaccination availability age has been dropping on a regular basis.  As more people become protected the hope is that this summer will look more normal than last.  There are other countries that are ahead of us when it comes to the number of people vaccinated for COVID-19, and they are starting to see life return to what we remember.

If you have been a fan of MasterChef Canada, there is now another reason to hope for things to get under control enough for restrictions to be lifted soon.  Next month you have the chance to cook with the top Nova Scotian from the latest season of MasterChef Canada, Andy Hay.  You had a night to catch up, spoiler if you didn’t watch Sunday’s episode yet, but even though Andy didn’t win it all, he is still one of the best in the country.
June 12th is when Andy will be cooking with those lucky ticket holders on Zoom.  The best part is that this is all for a good cause too. ” 100% of the service costs are being donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Canada and you will receive a tax receipt.”
So if you are hopeful that travel restrictions will be lifted in the next couple of weeks, so you can make the trip to Bedford for the ingredients, get your tickets booked.  There is also a worst case scenario where you can watch the demo without the ingredients to cook along.
Either way, this is pretty cool, a true cooking legend in your home thanks to Zoom.
