It’s sad that people would take advantage of others at any time…let alone, during a pandemic…but since it started, Scams (especially online) are on the rise.
The latest has to do with Remote- Access to your computer. What does that mean?
In simple terms : Someone will call or email saying they are a Computer software company and your Microsoft or Norton 360 is not working properly. They will ask you to download a “piece of software” (actually malware). Doing this, will give them full access to your computer. They will be able to steal all your private information, like passwords and banking information.
So be careful!!! Look into calls/emails before you give out personal information or download software.
