I remember there used to be cool prizes offered for free.
More than once I was elbows deep in a box of cereal trying to find the stickers or the toy inside. Then there were the UPC mail in prizes. I remember I got a Kodak camera from Shredded Wheat, an my sister got a cool rooster alarm clock from Corn Flakes. Of course I can’t forget the Nerds T-shirt I got too, just for eating candy.
Buying gas used to offer free cassette tapes. The “Solid Gold” collection from Shell was just great.
AND we can’t forget about the CDs, shirts, hats, glasses and cooler bags that come from items at the NSLC.
Now McDonald’s is offering up something useful for FREE! Free vintage Coca Cola glasses are being offered and the best part is, the McDonald’s at the Walmart in Pinegrove is one of the participating restaurants.
