A bus serving the Chester District School was involved in a minor collision this morning.
South Shore Regional Centre for Education Communication Coordinator, Ashley Gallant explained that Route 304 was rear ended by another vehicle just after 7a.m. near the Mersey Road Connector in East River.
RCMP and EHS attended the scene and the driver of the bus and all of the children on board were assessed.
According to the RCMP, the other vehicle involved was a tractor trailer and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
There were no injuries and another bus came to transport students to school.
