It’s the beginning of November so many people are starting to think Christmas.
Canada Post has sent out their “Shipping Deadlines” for Christmas, and they are fast approaching.
It’s going to be another busy year, so to avoid delays, its best to send your gifts sooner rather than later.
You have about a month to send regular parcels nationally (like from N.S to B.C.).The deadline is December 9.
For regional packages (Bridgewater to Dartmouth) the deadline is December 15.
Locally you should have your gifts sent by Dec 20th.
For overall priority shipping, you have a bit more lead way…but it’ll cost you. The deadline is December 21.
Here’s the deets on International Post:
To send regular post to Africa, Asia, Central/South America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and New Zealand, the deadline is November 19.
For Australia, it’s November 25, and for China, Europe, and India, it’s November 26.
For the U.K. or Switzerland, you’ll need to get it to Canada Post by November 30.
Last but not least….
If you still send holiday cards like myself, the deadlines are December 21 for local, December 20 for regional, and December 17 for national delivery.
