Now that Christmas has wrapped up and we are back to the last few days of “normal” before we take another break to welcome a new year. The big question is, what to do on New Year’s Eve?
I can still remember the old days of huge house parties. I remember being squeezed in shoulder to shoulder at Grand Parade in Halifax one year to welcome the turn of the calendar and many years of DJing for halls full of people excited to start a new year. Not the case last year and again this year. We will have a more modest welcome for 2022.
So what to do? I have a feeling it will be a tame evening with the little ones. Too young to make it to midnight, but maybe a bit later bedtime. That is something I have never been able to find a firm answer on, bedtime for kids and can it be broken. Some say NEVER, while this article is almost daring you to try it saying sure but if you do b prepared, haha.
