To say the past couple of years have been challenging is an understatement.  But, as we wait for that light at the end of this LONG tunnel to appear, it’s not all bad.  Anyone that watches world news knows that things could be a lot worse.  Each day I see the posts about this is being handled wrong and that should be better, but I wanted to remind you of something.  We live in the Best Country in the World!
That is not just me spouting off because I wore a pair of the Canadian Olympic mittens on my way to work this morning either.

 

The rankings were released a few months back, but I just wanted to remind you that this country is actually pretty great.
I know it is easy to get sucked into the doom and gloom of, ‘2022 sucks already’, but hopefully this can give you a bright point of pride.
Years from now we will look back, remembering these past few years were a tough, frustrating, confusing and sad time… but, we made it through.

Canada is named the number one country in the world in a 2021 Best Countries Report

 

Now if we break things down a bit further, we see that we also live in the 5th best province in Canada.  Nova Scotia was ranked number 5 looking at unemployment rate along with the amount of crime and poverty in the province.
