It has literally been years and for those among us that love exhibitions, that is a long time. But I saw something the other day that I am taking as a ray of hope that finally life might be returning to more normal this summer. There are some planned events coming to the South Shore Exhibition grounds.
A rodeo group I have been lucky enough to work with in the Annapolis Valley is planning to hold their events in Bridgewater this year !
The East Coast Rodeo Association puts on a great show and if you can remember a few years back, they were part of the Sunday schedule for the Big Ex.
Focusing on roping and racing, you can find an introduction to this group and what you can expect to see this summer on their ECRA Facebook page.
I just wonder if this could be the start of a busy summer in Bridgewater. I miss it and I know a lot of others do too. The parade, the animals, the rides and entertainment. Plus it has been too long since we spent a week sweating in a baby barn, haha.
Hopefully 2022 will be the year that we get to enjoy The Big Ex again.
In the meantime, you can plan to visit the exhibition grounds in the heart of Bridgewater for the ECRA.
