Monday is a big day and if you don’t believe me, just try forgetting Valentine’s Day and see how that works out for you with your significant other.
Now here at Country 100.7 February 14th is important for another very important reason.  For us it is not all about where to get flowers, should I buy chocolates and what about finding the perfect card, our focus is The Gift From the Heart Radiothon.  Starting 6am on Monday we will be fundraising with the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore for 12 hours and I hope you will join us.

Getting back to the perfect card for Valentine’s Day, I have some options!  Going to start with an option that I thought was pretty neat, have Dolly Parton wish your honey a Happy Valentine’s Day.  Or impress that certain someone you wish was your plus one with a greeting from this International Superstar.  AND before you say, ‘yeah but I doubt we can get them in Canada‘, they are available for sale or instant download, just FYI.

There is another Valentine’s Day card option though.
This one will keep you out of hot water, or help to woo that special someone AND help raise funds for The Gift From the Heart Radiothon.  A handmade card that has extra love in every speck of glitter, and you don’t have to do anything except deliver it and enjoy the smile it brings.
Once again this year Irene Hirtle is selling cards to support the Radiothon.  She is in a new location, at Gow’s Home Hardware and Furniture on High Street in Bridgewater on Valentine’s Day from 10am – 5pm.

So there are a few options to help ensure it is a Happy Valentine’s Day and not one spent explaining why you forgot to get something for that special someone.  Unless you have talents like Mr. Deeds, in that case you will do just fine on your own, haha.
