Have you shared your Netflix password with some of your friends. Well you may want to update that password and keep it to yourself.
Netflix is trying out a new experiment where they are cracking down on password sharing. They are planning on charging people who are sharing their account with others who aren’t in the same household.
Right now they are only trying it out in a few places, but if it works (if it keeps people from account sharing) they plan on rolling it out everywhere.
The charges are $2.99US for password sharing in Costa Rica. $2.98US in Chile, and about $2.12US in Peru.
