Yeah, if you have to give them a $500 Pre-Paid VISA card….RED FLAG!
We got a call at the radio station from a listener that said “Lotto Max” called them to let them know they won $23 million dollars. That’s an immediate red flag; Lotto Max doesn’t call people to let them know they won.
The listener knew this was a scam, but they went along with it to see what “Lotto Max” would say. Basically, to get the $23 Million, they would have to pay “Brinks Security” $500 to get the money down to them. But, it HAD to be a pre-paid VISA. No Cash….another red flag.
If you actually bought a ticket online, you would get a notification about winning through the ALC.ca app. If you bought a paper ticket, you would have to check it yourself.
Please don’t fall for this…
