As Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest today, this is still unknown territory for most of us. It has been 70 years since there was a change like this.
I remember the conversation was held here in the office when she passed away that all the money would have to change with her passing. Apparently that is not the case. If you look at the US, they don’t change currency with every new leader. Same is true for Canada, we do not HAVE to change it.
No, Canada isn’t required to change its money after Queen Elizabeth’s death
That said, there are a number of things that do need to change, like ketchup bottles, haha. True Story!!
There are a number of things that are declared as approved for use by the Royal Family. Anything that falls under this distinction has “A Royal Warrant document”. Apparently with the passing of her majesty all these issued documents are now null and void. King Charles III must re issue all Royal Warrants, so until that happens products that had that distinction will have to look at changing their packaging.
Heinz must change design of famous ketchup bottle following the Queen’s death
So as products hope they are as favored by the new King as they were by the former Queen, we just need to get used to singing “God Save The King.”
