Pumpkin season is here and we are not the only ones that have noticed. Yesterday I heard a very disappointed “Daddy, there’s a hole in my pumpkin!” come from the deck. I have put the pumpkins near the house and covered them to protect them from the frost. I guess a resident raccoon, aka Trash Panda, decided the cover was a tablecloth and the pumpkins were a late night snack. The experts suggest that cayenne pepper, hot sauce, eucalyptus oil, and vinegar can be used as scents to prevent raccoons from eating pumpkins.

With “Animal Kingdom” as this year’s theme, there are some great displays set up throughout the area for you to enjoy again this year.
