By now the stockings have been emptied and likely some treats have been enjoyed. The orange is a staple for Santa to leave in all the stockings I have ever known about. Another thing that Santa left behind for me this year is mint chocolates.

When it comes to snacks and treats we are pretty lucky in Canada. We enjoy most of what is offered around the world and also the Canadian items that are outlawed in some parts of the world. Like Kinder Surprise, they are illegal in the US due to a choking hazard, but a fun treat loved in Canada.
Then of course there is the best potato chips that we enjoyed the other night while watching Christmas Vacation. Ketchup chips are only available in Canada.
