As we are already a week into 2023, those that were fearful of a new year are starting to breathe a little easier… so far, so good, haha.
So now we are starting to see more recommendations of activities to plan for this year.
For those that have been staying close to home for the past couple years, maybe this will be the year to hit the road and get away when things warm up. Some of the folks I have been talking to are not in a hurry to really travel anymore, they are happy to stay close to home. For anyone that falls into this category, I have some great news for you. Three of the top ten locations to visit in Nova Scotia are right here on the South Shore.
The list released by Nova Scotia Buzz not only talks about recommended towns to visit, but has also listed their choice of where to eat while you are there.
So Lunenburg is the first one you see with the recommendation of visiting the Salt Shaker Deli, while in Mahone Bay it is suggested you grab a bite at the Oh My Cod. The third spot they suggest you visit in 2023 is Chester and the place to eat, the Rope Loft.
Living here, we may have suggestions of other restaurants to try or activities that must be enjoyed while there, but it’s pretty neat that nearly a third of the must see locations in our province are here on the South Shore.
