I remember how excited I was when I saw the Rum & Butter chocolate bars back! I think it was at Mikka’s Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe in the South Shore Centre. I had to grab one because it had been so many years since I had that ramped up version of the Caramilk bar. I have always been a fan of that rum candy flavour, like Rum and Raisin ice cream and these bars are tasty.
Well now I wish I was still moving people across the country so I could bring a truck load of bars back from Alberta with me.
Time is ticking away as a lady in Alberta is watching the June expiry date getting closer for over 130,000 Rum & Butter bars.

What would you do with a stock of bars like that? I am thinking there must be an ice cream producer that could use them for a brand new flavor before June. Or what about a new Blizzard flavour? Someone call DQ, it would be delicious!
If you have an idea on how to use these chocolate bars before the June expiry date, you can contact the folks from Canadian Candy Nostalgia. I know the wild critters that live around the dump closest to this lady would love to see these bars arrive, but there must be a better way to use them.
