Highway 12 has reopened in Lunenburg County near the Fishermen’s Memorial Highway.
The Department of Public Works posted on X around 7:15 a.m. Monday that Highway 12 was closed near exit 9 of Highway 103.
A large piece of a wind turbine fell off a transport truck.
An hour later, 511 Nova Scotia posted an update that it was cleared.
Cleared: #HWY12 Traffic on HWY-12 near Fishermen's Memorial Hwy. All lanes closed. Activities: Reduced speed, Be prepared to stop.
