Mahone Bay’s Deputy Mayor Colin Kingsmill is resigning.
A post on the town’s social media was posted Tuesday afternoon announcing that Mayor Suzanne Lohnes Croft had accepted the resignation.
It cited personal reasons as the cause for his departure and noted that the resignation will become official on November 27.
Current Councillor Joseph Feeny will take over the Deputy Mayor role, having received the second-highest number of votes when Kingsmill was originally appointed.
