Winter weather has led to numerous school closures in parts of Nova Scotia for Wednesday.
In the South Shore Regional Centre for Education, Lunenburg County schools are closed. However, schools in Queens County remain open, with back road closures in place.
The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education will also be closed due to icy conditions on back/dirt roads.
Pleasant Bay School and Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre have cancelled classes in the Strait Regional Centre due to the poor weather conditions.
The Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) has announced closures for several schools.
The following cancelled classes are:
- South Shore School Centre
- Belleville School
- Joseph-Dugas School
- NDA School
- West Pubnico School
- Clare Secondary School
- Par-en-Bas High School
- Stella-Maris School
- Wedgeport School
