It’s officially December 1st which means Advent Calendar time, and the magic of “Elf on the Shelf”. It’s bound to get busier the closer we get to Christmas, so here are some easy Elf on the Shelf ideas for those days that get away from you:
Watching Holiday movies: Pop some popcorn and have the remote handy.
Building a snow fort: All you need is some sugar cubes and some imagination.
Building a snowman: same idea, just with big marshmallows.
Packing lunch: This one is so cute for before school wraps up for winer break. Have them assembling a lunch box.
Make snow angels: All you need is some rice and create a snow angel in it!
Christmas tree: Have your Christmas tree up? Have the Elf on the shelf be a bit naughty and redecorate the Christmas tree with some toilet paper.
Refrigerator: Everyone needs a late-night snack sometimes. Hide the Elf in the refrigerator raiding treats.
Enjoy a Marshmallow bubble bath: All you need is a bowl and some small marshmallows. Extra points for a small towel.
Go fishing: A toothpick, some string, and yummy goldfish!
Candy cane plants: This one is actually good for two nights. Get your kids to plant jellybeans in a pot. The next day, you’ll have some sprouted candy canes!!
Hope these ideas help, for those busier days!!
