People are being asked to share their experiences about the current health care situation in Shelburne County.
The Town of Shelburne is hosting a rally next month.
It’s called ‘Make Your Voice Heard On Health Care’.
It comes as frustration and concerns grow over the continued closures of the ER at Roseway Hospital.
Mayor Karen Mattatall says the closures are just a symptom of a bigger problem that the province has failed to acknowledge.
“They really to stop thinking that regionalization is the be all and end all , I really don’t believe that it is at all. And I would encourage other communities if they’re hearing what we’re doing in Shelburne, to do the same thing.”
The rally will be held Sunday November 5th at 2pm at the Shelburne Community Centre Auditorium.
She say she hopes representatives of the Nova Scotia Health Authority attend.
Mattatall says they are welcome to come and listen to what people have to say.
