There’s a new doctor coming to Barrington.
Municipality of Barrington CAO Chris Frotten says they are trying to get the word out to those who need a doctor.
“We have a new physician starting a practice in the Municipality of Barrington this month and we want to get the word out on how people can get registered on the provincial list, as that will be how she will be rostering her patients.”
He says Dr. Robyn Pierce is getting ready to open her practice.
“It’s a person who originally comes from Barrington. She recently graduated from her studies and her residency and she’s returning back to the area, so we’re really excited to have her back and obviously having her provide such an important to the community is really great.”
Those wishing to register need to be on the the Nova Scotia Need a Family Practice Registry which they can do by going to https://needafamilypractice.nshealth.ca or calling 811.
