Is There A Root Beer Shortage In Canada?

COVID has messed with a lot of stuff, it better not mess with my Root Beer floats!

If Root Beer is your favourite soft drink, have you noticed that it may be hard to find on store shelves?

Allegedly, some cities in Canada have noticed that finding different brands of Root Beer has been tough. I’ve noticed that a few people in Halifax have asked different social media accounts that highlight retail businesses about not being to find Root Beer.

I even noticed while shopping at Costco that the fountain pop machine didn’t have MUG Root Beer available. Could this be the next big shortage during this pandemic (like Toilet Paper and Hand Sanitizer)?

Focusing on more brands in North America, there has been a shortage of aluminum cans because more people are buying them up to stay prepared to “Stay The Blazes Home”. 

I’ve noticed that Coke Zero Sugar in fountain pop form has been hard to find in Nova Scotia. What about you? Is your favourite pop in low supply?
