The emergency department at Queens General Hospital will be closed temporarily.
The department will be closed starting at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, July 15, and will re-open at 8a.m. tomorrow, Friday, July 16.
Nova Scotia Health said the closure is due to the unavailability of a physician.
Anyone requiring emergency medical care should call 911, or for general health advice call 811 to speak with a registered nurse.
