Multiple emergency rooms on the South Shore will be operating at reduced hours.
The emergency department at Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital will close at 2p.m. on Friday, July 30 and will re-open Saturday, July 31, at 7:30a.m.
According to the Nova Scotia Health Authority, the temporary closure is due to lack of physician coverage.
The emergency department at Roseway Hospital in Shelburne will also be operating at reduced hours.
The department will close at 6p.m. on Friday, July 30 and re-open on Saturday, July 31, at 8a.m.
