The Canadian Mint added a new Loonie into circulation yesterday.
The new loonie commemorates the Klondike Gold Rush, 125 years ago. They highlight the 1896 gold discovery in the traditional territory of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in.
Their are two versions of the loonies. One is colored and the other is not.
So keep a look out for the new loonie, it should be popping up in your change soon.
