Way back when, a feral cat colony lived in an abandoned building in downtown New Glasgow. The building was demolished and instead of leaving the kitties out in the cold with no place to go, MacGillivray Law created the MacGillivray Law Riverfront Cat Sanctuary.
They built a tiny home for the cats, with a protective fence, sleeping ledges and scratching posts.
They even had a contest for kids, that provided beautiful art to hang on the sanctuaries walls.
On top of that…They have a live feed where you can watch the kitties hang out:
So how does the MacGillivray Law Riverfront Cat Sanctuary work? It’s in partnership with Feral Cats – New Glasgow. They are an incredible group of volunteers who take care of the cats, including feeding and neutering them.
I love a “Feel good story”. Incredible people, doing incredible things. Thank you to everyone involved with the MacGillivray Law Riverfront Cat Sanctuary
